Following the reopening of airspace in the Middle East, our services between London Heathrow and Dubai and Riyadh on Tuesday 03 March 2026 plan to operate as scheduled. The safety and security of our mutual customers and people is always our top priority, and Virgin Atlantic's operation is subject to ongoing assessments.

Virgin Atlantic will continue to monitor the situation in the Middle East with ongoing dynamic assessments and active changes to their flight routings based on the latest information and guidance, if required. Please check this page for updates.

Currently, Virgin Atlantic plan to restart flying with the following services: 

VS401 Dubai – London Heathrow, Wednesday 04 March 2026

VS243 Riyadh – London Heathrow, Wednesday 04 March 2026

As a precautionary measure, Virgin Atlantic previously cancelled the below flights:

VS400 - London Heathrow - Dubai - 28 February 2026, 01 March 2026 and 02 March 2026

VS401 - Dubai - London Heathrow - 01 March 2026, 02 March 2026 and 03 March 2026

VS242 - London Heathrow - Riyadh - 01 March 2026

VS243 - Riyadh - London Heathrow - 02 March 2026
