Virgin Atlantic launches only direct flight between London Heathrow and Barbados

On 12 December 2017 Virgin Atlantic launched the only direct flight from London Heathrow to Barbados - a twice weekly service.
As part of the winter 2017 schedule, flights will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays on an Airbus A330. Virgin Atlantic will now operate 11 Barbados flights per week from the UK including flights from Manchester, Gatwick and London Heathrow.
London Heathrow-Barbados is the fifth new service to launch in 2017 from Virgin Atlantic - flights to Seattle, Boston, New York, and San Fransisco have all been added ths year. Plus a recently extended codeshare agreement with FlyBe to improve connectivity domestically.
Virgin Atlantic has seen a strong demand for their Upper Class and Premium Economy cabins on Barbados flights and so took the opportunity to utilise an A330. This aircraft is fully configured with 31 Upper Class, 48 Premium Economy and 185 Economy seats allowing more customers to experience Virgin Atlantics award winning service.
