Virgin Atlantic and WestJet codeshare
Virgin Atlantic's new codeshare with Canadian carrier WestJet, will expand their transatlantic reach from Gatwick. This deal opens up 32 destinations in Canada including the four main gateway cities of Toronto, Halifax, Vancouver and Calgary.
This new codeshare will operate all year round from Gatwick to Calgary and Toronto with additional summer flights to Halifax and Vancouver. Domestic connections will also be available for travel from Thursday 21st November to Edmonton, Montreal, Ottawa and Quebec- making Canada even more accessible.
With Virgin Atlantic's route network constantly expanding, your clients have never had so much choice. This codeshare will enhance Virgin Atlantic's North American aspirations alongside its current joint venture with US partner Delta Air Lines and Air France-KLM.
Virgin Atlantic commercial executive vice president Juha Jarvinen said: “This new partnership will open up a plethora of Canadian destinations to our customers and offer more choice for those looking to fly directly to Canada.
