The UK Government has announced that the rules for international travel to England will change from 0400 BST on 4 October 2021.

Until the new, simplified system comes into effect, customers should continue to adhere to the rules for entering England based on the ‘traffic light system’, which remains in place until 0359 BST on 4 October.

Of Virgin Atlantic destinations, Pakistan will move from the Red list to the Amber list from 0400 BST on 22 September.

We do understand that the Covid-19 situation remains dynamic and ongoing restrictions may pose difficulties to our mutual customers with upcoming travel plans. The following countries served by Virgin Atlantic Airways are allocated:
Green: Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Grenada, Hong Kong and Israel
Amber: China, India, Jamaica, Nigeria, United States, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Pakistan*
Red: Cuba, South Africa and Trinidad and Tobago.
*Pakistan will move to the Amber list from 0400 BST on 22 September
